Organization: D.O. More for 305 - The Lotus House Shelter

​

One of the first chapters established, D.O. More Miami was founded by local medical students who partnered with the nonprofit organization The Lotus House Shelter. Since 2004, they have been sheltering 1,550+ women, youth and children annually, Lotus House is the largest shelter for women and children in the country. They provide shelter, resources, and multi-faceted, comprehensive supportive services to help their guests successfully exit the shelter system and lead lives of greater opportunity.

S/O to our Miami team for raising $1000 and assembling 50 bags to donate to Lotus House Shelter!! 

Lotus House Shelter aims not only to provide essential items but also enable those experiencing homelessness with education and tools to blossom into who they are truly meant to be. We are thankful to be working with an amazing organization with a powerful mission and look forward to work with other organizations like Lotus House Shelter in the future!
